IFMA Sacramento is pleased to announce we were awarded the 2018 Small Chapter of the Year Award of Excellence by IFMA International this past week at the IFMA World Workplace Annual Conference and Expo in Charlotte, North Carolina at the Charlotte Convention Center on Friday, October 5th, 2018. IFMA's World Workplace Conference and Expo is the most respected event for facility management and related professions in the USA and Internationally. This award was given to the Sacramento Valley Chapter for outstanding contributions to the facility management profession and the development of IFMA.
The Sacramento Valley Chapter of IFMA International’s first all-female board is headed by President: Trena Ellis, Director of Facilities, with PowerSchool Inc.; Vice President: Diane Viodes, Account Manager, with Restoration Management Company; Treasurer: Amber Stewart, Southwest Regional Facilities Manager, with Conduent, Inc.; Secretary: Melanie Uhrenholt, Account Manager, with BELFOR Property Restoration, Inc.; and Immediate Past President: Kimberly Ayers, Regional Sales Director with AQUIS Solutions.
This award was received because of the outstanding efforts the Sacramento Valley Chapter to implemented and provide IFMA educational programs and credentialing training, support and outreach to young facility management professionals, continued successful membership retention, and sponsor awareness and promotion throughout the local Sacramento Valley Region facility management market.
