| Programs and Professional Development Panel
A collaborative effort between the Board of Directors and Chapter Leaders, the objective of the Board’s Program Panel is to develop the critical monthly functions that define the chapter and to ensure that those programs inform, educate and entertain our members. The purpose of these programs is to present and discuss topics in the world of Facilities Management while also aligning those topics to greater industry, economic and regulatory trends. These events are structured around the nine competencies of the Certified Facilities Management (CFM) designation: operations and maintenance; leadership and management; real estate; human & environmental factors; planning & project management; finance; quality assessment and innovation; communication and FM technology. Chapter leaders and volunteers are also available to help members prepare for the CFM exam through the loan of study material or by coordinating study groups and exam prep courses. |
