Serena Pancoast, CFM - Chapter President
Serena has been a chapter member since 2000. In 2007 she earned her CFM and in 2008-09 she was Chair of the Professional Development Committee; she was elected President in 2010. As President, she is responsible for the Boards Programs Panel, the chapters Balanced Scorecard and is the editor of the chapters Newsletter. Serena has attended IFMAs World Workplace in New Orleans (2007), Dallas (2008), Orlando (2009) and Atlanta (2010) and IFMAs Facilities Fusion in San Diego (2009) and Philadelphia (2010). As an Advocacy Liaison, she joined fellow leaders for IFMAs 2010 Advocacy Day in Washington D.C. to advocate for the facilities profession and energy efficiency legislation. Rob Turnage - Chapter Vice President
Rob has been a chapter member since 2005. Throughout his tenure with the chapter, Rob has served as the Chair of the Programs Committee and as an active member of the Special Events and Membership Committees. As the Vice President, Rob manages the Boards Program calendar, coordinates the efforts of the chapter leaders and organizes the Boards annual strategic planning session. Paul Gillaspy, PME, LEED AP - Chapter Secretary
A chapter member since 2008, Paul has been in the FM industry since 1991. As Secretary, Paul is responsible for the Boards administrative duties including maintaining the Boards Program action plan, the meeting minutes from Board meetings and maintaining the chapters by-laws. Paul has attended World Workplace in Orlando (2009) and Atlanta (2010). He currently works as a Mechanical Engineer in the Energy & Technology Center at the Sacramento Municipal Utility District. Chuck Swiderski, Lifetime CFM, CFMJ - Chapter Treasurer
Chuck has been in the FM profession since 1996 and has been a chapter member since 2004, the same year he earned his CFM. In 2008-09 Chuck was a member of the Professional Development Committee. As Treasurer, Chuck is responsible for the fiscal oversight and integrity of the chapter, annual budgeting and chapter re-certification. Chuck has attended IFMAs World Workplace in San Diego (2006), New Orleans (2007), Dallas (2008) and Atlanta (2010) as well as IFMAs Facilities Fusion in Philadelphia (2010). Christian Flanders, FMP - Immediate Past President
Chris has been a chapter member since 1997, first joining the Special Events Committee. Since that time, Chris has served as Treasurer, Vice President and then President. As the Immediate Past President, Christian actively supports the Boards Program Panel, mentors new chapter leaders and oversees the annual Board election process. Chris earned his FMP in 2008 and has attended IFMAs World Workplace several times, including WWP in Los Angeles (1999), San Diego (2006) New Orleans (2007), Dallas (2008), Orlando (2009) and Atlanta (2010). Laurel Bane Chair of Special Events
Laurel has been a chapter member since 2007. In addition to chairing Special Events, Laurel is the chapters Sustainability Liaison. Jessica Bautista Chair of Membership
A chapter member since 2007, Jessica is the chair of the Membership Committee. As the chair, Jessica is the liaison between the Boards Program Panel and the Membership Committee volunteers who provide administrative support for monthly programs. In addition to organizing and coordinating the volunteer duties, Jessica also coordinates the chapters new member introduction, the quarterly new member breakfast and she maintains the chapters distribution lists . Chris has been a chapter member since 2008. As the Communication and Outreach Liaison, Chris assists with newsletter content and advertising and directory distribution and advertising. Helen White Sponsor Liaison
Helen has been a chapter member since 2010. As the Sponsor Liaison, Helen works with the Boards Program Panel and with the Membership and Special Events Committees to ensure that the benefits of annual and individual sponsorship are being fully realized. Helen is also responsible for the annual Associates breakfast, the spring and autumn sponsor luncheons, and the annual sponsorship drive.
