Honoring the chapter’s longtime member and IFMA Fellow, the Sacramento Valley Chapter of IFMA Kit Tuveson Professional Development Scholarship is open to all chapter members who are interested in pursuing IFMA’s premier credential , the CFM (Certified Facility Manager). This scholarship covers access fees for IFMA’s FM Learning Center or the cost associated in attending a CFM Preparation class (whichever the awarded recipient prefers) and the cost associated with taking the CFM exam at a testing center.
One Kit Tuveson Professional Development Scholarship will be awarded each calendar year; interested members are encouraged to complete an application. For 2014, applications must be received by April 25th and the designated recipient will be notified in early May, 2014.

SMUD's Energy & Technology Center (E&TC) offers educational programs to its customers on energy efficiency and current industry technology. The E&TC offers technical trainings on subjects such as lighting, HVAC, architecture/construction, whole building performance, and building science. Most of the classes are at "no cost".
